In 2021, Holy Name of Jesus School opened Little Gators, a full-time, year-round program for infants and toddlers that provides early childhood education rooted in Jesuit tradition. The program is housed in the Whelan Center on the campus of Loyola University, with plans to expand our own campus in the future to accommodate the program.
The Little Gators program molds a sense of curiosity and exploration through establishing a foundation for learning and achieving. Our teachers establish a sense of wonder in their classroom through child-centered play and a play-based learning approach. Early learners thrive from the opportunity to discover, experiment, and create. Little Gator students are exposed to the importance of becoming a lifelong learner.
